King Farm Stores was started due to the need for an alternative source of energy that would have the least or no negative effect to the environment as well as creation of jobs in our region.
King Farm stores works relentlessly to cover the huge demand of clean energy by means of mass production of briquettes and compatible jikos.
We aim to reduce ,Eliminate and prevent environmental pollution caused by the use of non clean energy.
We pride ourselves in finding the balance between a growing economy, the need for environmental protection, and social responsibilities in order to provide an improved quality of clean fuel energy
How we started
King Farm Stores was started in the year 2013 working on stingless bees and tree nurseries, promoting environmental conservation and domestication of extinct species. In the year 2020, King Farm Stores realized more threats on forest
destruction majorly by charcoal burners.
We started an alternative way on sourcing alternative energy to empower the community. The enterprise is situated on the sugar beltzone whereby we have two big sugar industries that process and produce a lot of sugar wastes.
As an enterprise we saw an opportunity to add value on the sugar wastes for Renewable and sustainable energy needs, so since then we buy and sell briquettes from Butali Sugar to chips vendors and learning institutions to date.
